The Yagur Interchange
The construction of the Yagur Interchange, one of the busiest junctions in northern Israel, was planned to alleviate heavy traffic congestion in the area and reduce travel times between Haifa, the Galilee, and the Valleys.
About the Project
As part of the project, bridge construction was carried out, involving three box bridges and ramps, with limited access and challenging ground conditions for construction.
Additionally, road restoration and expansion works were performed on Highway 70 from Yagur Junction northward and on Highway 75 from Yokneam to Haifa. There was a vertical separation between the traffic on the three highways. A bridge was constructed, accommodating the passage of the Emek Railway underneath, and the flow of the Kishon Stream in the interchange area was organized.
