Shapir civil engineering is a private company - an Israeli leader in construction, developing infrastructure and with the most proven experience in all civil engineering fields.
Shapir was founded in 1968 and grew strong in all of the folloing fields: Construction of bridges, intersections, paving roads, sea works, public housing and industrial construction. Shapir is also aknowlaged for governmental projects, by awarded and approved for the ISO-9001-2000 standarts.
Shapir performed a large amount of the Israel's infrastracture developments, such as: intersections, tunnels, bridges and like versa works.
Various projects such as: Natbag 2000, Route #3 (concrete road), Rothenberg power station in Ashkelon, Northern Ashdod port, Gilo bridge (the only fragment bridge in Israel) as well as many other bridges, a Bait intersection in Jerusalem, which included 3 tunnels, 2 bridges, Kfar-Shmaryahu intersection, housing projects in Herzeliyah, Mevaseret Zion, the Leon parking lot, housing in Rehovot, Shapirim tunnel, Krayot intersection and many more.
Nowadays ongoing project are: Extending the Knesset, PFI project, Route #471 Western Macabit, Shafdan pipes pushing for 12,000 meters, Route #531, Central train station in Modiyin, Ixel tunnels and Holon eastern interchange.
