The Refined Products Terminal at the Port of Haifa

Shapir Group has won Israel Ports Company’s tender to construct a new refined products terminal at the Bayport Terminal in Haifa.

Construction of the new terminal is expected to take approximately two and a half years. It will enable several ships and tankers to berth simultaneously, thereby enhancing the port’s operational efficiency.

The new terminal will be approximately 475 meters long and 24 meters wide. Construction will involve steel sheet piling and land reclamation using sand dredged from the seabed to a depth of 14 meters near the terminal.

The terminal’s superstructure will include a large concrete waterside beam, mooring equipment, advanced technological systems, and other infrastructure.
