Shapir completed the preservation and conversion of Beit Frumin in Jerusalem, the first home of Israel’s Knesset. The project combines the preservation of historical heritage with advanced technologies, transforming the historic building into a museum that tells the story of Israeli democracy.
As part of the project, Shapir carried out works to preserve the historic building, restore original architectural features, and adapt the site for use as the Knesset Museum. Alongside the preservation of Beit Frumin’s historic character, advanced technologies were integrated to present Israel’s parliamentary history.
The museum explores the development of Israeli democracy from the establishment of the State of Israel to the present day, showcasing unique historical artifacts and the story of the Knesset. The project reflects Shapir’s commitment to preserving Israel’s heritage and history.
