In 2012, the Shapir Group was awarded a Jerusalem Municipal tender to design, construct, operate and maintain the student dormitories and accompanying commercial spaces in the Beit Agron complex in Jerusalem.

The project that Shapir built near Independence Park includes two dormitories housing approximately 420 sleeping spaces. This project is part of the municipality’s efforts to revitalize Jerusalem’s city center. Since the beginning of the project’s operation, the dormitories have been in high demand, thanks to, among other things, the quality of construction and the excellent location in the city center. The operating company provides continuous care and concern for the students’ welfare and operates a spacious student club for them, laundry services and more.
