The licenses to construct and operate a natural gas distribution network in the country’s center were given in 2009, followed by the issuance of an exclusive license for the construction and operation of a natural gas distribution network in the area of Hadera and the northern valleys in 2013. In this activity, the Shapir Group serves dozens of clients from the industrial, commercial sectors, and institutional clientele connected to the natural gas distribution network, such as the Nesher Concrete Plant and Ben Gurion International Airport. Over the next few years, dozens more customers will be connected – hospitals, army bases, large factories, and customers from the domestic sector.
