Ayalon South
A project for constructing a grade separation for the railway route. The work included clearing and relocating infrastructure (pipe jacking) and paving new lanes to preserve the traffic’s continuity.
The main components consisted of massive diaphragms along the highway in approximately 50,000 m3 of slurry walls, paving of a 2,000 meter-long drainage conduit and excavation of a railway viaduct.
In the project, Shapir installed approximately 20,000 piles and nearly 1,500 ground anchors.
