Highway 50
In the Highway 50 project – Section 2, also known as the ‘Begin Highway’ in Jerusalem, Nebnishi Bridge and Refaim Bridge were constructed. Additionally, pavement works were carried out, and infrastructure systems were built.
About the Project
The work in the Highway 50 – Section 2 project took place in the urban area of Jerusalem and included:
- Earthworks covering an area of 65,000 square meters
- Construction of the Nebnishi Bridge over the Begin Road interchange and Benvenisti Street, involving road source excavation over an area of approximately 4,200 square meters
- Construction of the Refaim Bridge over the railway track, including road source excavation over an area of about 10,200 square meters
- Building of supporting walls from retaining walls and cast-in-place concrete on-site covering an area of around 7,000 square meters
- Road pavement with an area exceeding 48,000 square meters
- Infrastructure works, electrical works, communication works, subterranean water infrastructure and drainage, including development works, traffic arrangements, and pavement.
